The Citroen DS Divine Concept is heading for the Paris Motor Show, preview the design direction for Citroen’s DS brand rather than a new model.

Citroen do good concepts, and the DS Divine Concept is another slightly barking gilded lily from the French car makers, pointing the way to future DS models and design.
With a big diamond pattern grill up front and its low, squat stance, the DS Divine looks convincing, even if the oversize alloys and some of the detailing are typically ‘concept’, particularly the windowless back end.
Inside is even less like a production car – and a bit like an explosion in a glitterball factory – with a panoramic digital back window, scissor doors, Swarovski crystals, embroidery by Lesage and an attempt at ‘Haute Couture’ interiors with a dashboard and door scrolls that can be changed in fifteen minutes to offer three different ‘personalities – Male, Parisienne Chic and Fatale Punk. Really.
Power comes from a 1.6 litre turbo petrol with 270bhp.
The Citroen Divine DS Concept will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show on 2 October.
