Hyundai HCD-14 Concept teased ahead of Detroit. The new Hyundai Genesis saloon?

Hyundai are teasing a new concept – the Hyundai HCD-14 Concept – which looks to be a tease for the next generation Hyundai Genesis.

With the Detroit Auto Show looming, we’re going to be seeing more than a few teases and leaks for new models and new cars, and this afternoon Hyundai has come up with their first tease for the Detroit show.

On offer is the Hyundai HCD-14 Concept which looks to us as if its the first official look at what will be the next generation Hyundai Genesis.

We don’t currently get the Genesis – Hyundai’s range-topper on the other side of the Pond – but with the rise and rise of Hyundai’s credibility, don’t bet against this latest version making it here.

All Hyundai are prepared to say on the HCD-14 at the moment is that:

The HCD-14 concept will give the automotive world a glimpse into future Hyundai premium vehicle design, advanced 3-D gesture-based technology controls, and spirited driving dynamics.

If you want to see more of what the HCD-14 concept will turn in to when it becomes the new Genesis, you won’t go far wrong if you look at what the Kia Quoris / Kia K9 (or whatever it finally ends up being called) – Kia’s convincing take on the BMW 7 Series – has to offer.
