Hyundai i30 FastBack confirmed
Hyundai Europe has revealed the arrival of a Hyundai i30 Fastback to the new i30 range in a Tweet showing images of an i30 timeline presentation.
Only yesterday, prices and specs for the 2017 Hyundai i30 were announced as Hyundai puts on sale its impressive new competitor for the VW Golf and Ford Focus. But there’s a lot more to come from the i30 range. We already know there will be an i30 Estate – which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March – and that a proper performance i30 is on the way with the new i30 N, which we expect to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
But to add to the regular hatchback, performance model and Estate you can now add a new i30 – the Hyundai i30 Fastback.
The i30 Fastback has been confirmed for 2018 by Hyundai Europe on Twitter, and although there are no official details we do have some morsels of information on the new addition to the i30 range we can share.

The i30 Fastback will be a four-door, sleek and coupe-like i30 – think BMW Gran Coupe – promising a more upmarket offering than the regular i30.
In fact, Hyundai execs have been said to consider the i30 Fastback a ‘baby Panamera’, and view it as a much sexier option than the three-door i30 t will effectively replace in the i30 range.
But it will be 2018 before the i30 Fastback arrives, only after the i30 Estate and i30 N have been launched.
