Hyundai i30 N ‘N Option’
Hyundai has revealed ‘N Option’ for the i30 N, a range of customisation options from N Performance to enhance the N Performance cars.
Add-ons and customisation options are generally very good news for car makers’ bottom lines, so Hyundai should be on to a good thing with their ‘N Option’ reveal at the Paris Motor Show.N Option is a range of customisation options for the i30 N (and, we assume, the i30 Fastback N) designed to make your N Performance model stand out from the crowd, and add a few bob to the price in the process.
Hyundai say N Option is a look at how Hyundai’s customisation offerings could evolve, and promising a range of add-ons will arrive in the near future to enable buyers to properly customise their i30 N.
The i30 N Option showcases a range of 25 different exterior and interior individualisation options including stuff like a carbon back wing with ‘N’ emblem, carbon bonnet with vents, quad tail pipes, a grille with surrounding red line, casted lightweight 20″ alloys with semi-slick tyres and new paint jobs.
Interior stuff includes black carbon accents, sports bucket seats with red lines, sports pedals, new gear stick and more.
Thomas Schemera, Hyundai Executive VP, said:
With our N portfolio we are shaking up the competition, and bringing new performance and emotions for our customers. The development of our N vehicles is grounded in Motorsport and our engagement there is the pinnacle of N.
The new i30 N Line and our i30 N ‘N Option’ show car illustrate our dual approach to customisation, making N available to a wider audience.
Expect a retail version of N Option for the i30 N to arrive soon.
