The new Jaguar E-Pace – the F-Pace’s little brother – debuts on 13 July, ahead of which Jaguar are showing the E-Pace out extreme testing.
We had official confirmation, and a tease photo, that the debut of the new Jaguar E-Pace SUV will be on 13 July, ahead of which Jaguar is still busy extreme testing the E-Pace.That means the relatively new phenomenon of ‘Official’ spy photos, here of the E-Pace strutting its stuff whilst extreme testing.
Jaguar say they unleashed ‘Hell and High Water’ to test the E-Pace to extreme, with more than 150 E-Pace prototypes tested over a more than two year period across four continents.
The E-Pace has been out pounding round the Nurburgring, high speed testing at the Nardo test track in Italy, extreme heat in the deserts of the Middle East, -40C in the Arctic Circle and the rivers and high altitudes of China, all in an effort to make the E-Pace the best it can be.
Graham Wilkins, E-PAce Chief Product Engineer, said:
Our team of world class engineers and dynamics specialists have meticulously tuned and developed a true Jaguar. Months of intense testing on roads and tracks around the world have delivered a compact performance SUV that is true to Jaguar’s performance DNA.
The official reveal of the new Jaguar E-Pace will be in the evening of next Thursday (13 July 2017), with a public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
And it will have a significant impact on Jaguar’s sales from 2018.
