Jaguar XE 300 Sport back for another Promo
The Jaguar XE 300 Sport returns for another promo outing, creating double helix tracks on Pendine Sands alongside a Jaguar XE SV Project 8.
Just last month, Jaguar took the XE 300 Sport off to Clermont Ferrand and its defunct Grand Prix track to prove that it wasn’t just the XE SV Project 8 which could turn in an impressive performance (as it should as a £150k XE) but regular production models of the XE could be quick and impressive too.It was good to see Jaguar doing a promo for an XE you can buy, at sensible money, and despite, or because of, their current woes, Jaguar are back pushing the XE 300 Sport again with another ‘Adventure’ outing.
This time, Jaguar has taken the XE 300 Sport of to Pendine Sands in Wales, alongside the XE SV for added performance Fairy Dust, and had the pair of them create a double helix shape on the flat beach, ‘proving’ the XE 300 Sport has the same DNA as the XE SV.
Just like the old F1 track in France, Pendine Sands has a long history of motorsport, and although it’s now owned by the MoD it is once again open, at times, for quick cars to play, with everything from an EV speed record run by a ‘Campbell’ to a BMW M5 promoting London 2012, via a Range Rover SVR outing to prove its grip and more than a visit or three by Top Gear to play.
So now you know: the Jaguar XE 300 Sport has motorsport history in its veins, and DNA shared with the XE SV.
