Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark Edition
The Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark Edition arrives to celebrate not only the Discovery Sport’s sales success, but also Land Rover’s 70th anniversary.
It may not come as a total surprise to learn that Land Rover’s cheapest car – the Discovery Sport – is also its biggest seller, with 126,078 units shifted in 2017 – the equivalent of 70 per cent of Jaguar’s total sales for 2017 all on its own.
To celebrate the Discovery Sport being the fastest selling Land Rover of all time, and to stick an extra candle on their 70th Anniversary celebration cake, Land Rover has delivered a new special edition Discovery Sport – the Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark Edition.
Available in three colours – Narvik Black, Corris Grey and Yulong White, all with a Carpathian Grey roof – the Discovery Sport Landmark gets a titivated front bumper, Graphite Atlas highlights, 19″ ‘Mantis’ wheels, Ebony grained leather, aluminium finishers, Panoramic roof, Meridian Sound and a heated steering wheel.
If you do decide to grab one of Land Rover’s celebration Discovery Sports, you appear to have Hobson’s choice on engines, with just the 180PS TD4 on offer, although the press release for the Sport is keen to remind us that all its engines are now fitted with a particulate filter.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark Edition is now available to order from Land Rover’s UK dealers, with prices starting at £40,400.
