Los Angeles Auto Show 2011: Photo roundup

A quick look at the cars of the Los Angeles Auto Show 2011, from the Subaru BRZ to the Beetle R and the Mustang Shelby to the Panamera GTS.

This week saw the start of the Los Angeles Motor Show, so we thought we’d have a quick look at what was on the floor, including some of the stuff we haven’t already looked at.

There was the ‘cool in white’ Jaguar stand and the latest Defender DC100 Concept, all prettied up in baby blue.

There were Camaros and Mustangs, the new Bentley GTC (but no V8 – that’s for Detroit in January), a hot Beetle R and Volvo’s You Concept that points the way to the next generation of Volvo design.

This isn’t completely comprehensive, but we’ll add to it as more photos come in from the show.

The 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show Photo Gallery Roundup

The Aston Martin One-77 made an appearance, even though it’s not homolgated for the US.	It wouldn’t be a motor show without an Audi e-Tron, this time the A3 e-tron	The 2012 Bentley Continental GTC arrived where it belongs – California
The BMW City Car – the BMW i3 – made an appearance so the US could brace itself	The Cadillac XTS – the new range-topping Cadillac tried to look appealing	American Muscle car were on show, this one the Chevrolet Camaro for 2013
We also got a lime green Camaro Coupe to go with the more subtle Camaro Convertible	Ford Escape – Ford Kuga to be – got its world debut at LA ahead of Europe.	The new Honda CR-V arrived at Los Angeles looking just like a Honda CR-V
Infiniti’s big crossover – the Infiniti JX – debuted in public. We won’t be getting it.	Jaguar gave the C-X16 (XE) a new coat of Neutron White paint to get the LA vibe	The Jaguar XKR-S Convertible – all £103k of it – also came in cool white
Land Rover found some baby blue paint and more technology to move the DC100 on.	The new, rather convincing, Lexus GS put in a show appearance at LA	The slows selling Lincoln MKT was given a new face that only a mother could love.
Mexico’s best arrived in the shape of the appealing – and yellow Mastretta MXT	Mazda’s effort in the compact SUV market arrived in North America – the Mazda CX-5	LA wouldn’t be complete without a Mustang, this one the 2013 Mustang.
And if you’re going to have a Mustang have one with teeth – the 650bhp Mustang Shelby	We’re not too sure what Americans will make of the little urban warrior Nissan Juke	The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet – thankfully not yet in showrooms anywhere.
The first trip to the States for the 2012 Porsche 911 we first saw at Frankfurt	World debut of the harder-edged Panamera – the Porsche Panamera GTS.	Subaru brought along a BRZ Concept STI, weeks before the real BRZ arrives.
Volvo showed us the You Concept from Frankfurt, Volvo’s future design language.	It’s just a concept – yeah, right – but the VW Beetle R almost makes the new Beetle desirable
