New Citroen C3 pops up for its UK debut at Westfield Stratford
The new Citroen C3 – which comes with a liberal dose of C4 Cactus styling – gets its UK debut on a pop-up Citroen stand at Westfield in East London.
We’ve seen car makers starting to move their offerings from bespoke dealerships in to the High Street recently (well, shopping malls), with both Hyundai and Jaguar Land Rover taking space at Westfield in East London. Now you can add Citroen to that list.
But unlike JLR and Hyundai, both of which support their Westfield adventure with a Rockar web site to deliver sales solutions, Citroen seem to be using their pop-up stand at Westfield more as a showcase than a sales channel – step forward the new 2017 Citroen C3 to make its UK public debut.
Citroen’s stand will also see the UK premiere of ConnectedCAM Citroen, an on-board HD camera for the new C3 mounted in the rear-view mirror which will take stills or video at the press of a button.
The C4 Cactus-inspired makeover for the 2017 C3 will be on display at Westfield until the New Year, but with Citroen committed to a 15-month deal at Westfield there will be more Citroen product and cars to come.
Chris Cheetham, Marketing Director at Citroen UK, said:
The Citroën stand is a fantastic opportunity for us to premiere New C3 in the UK and showcase the latest technological advancements, such as the revolutionary ConnectedCAM Citroën ™ and the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme.
Our stand at Westfield Stratford City, which is part of our 15-month partnership, enables us to meet our customers and to allow them to explore our brand universe.
