New DS 3 & DS 3 Cabrio UK prices and specs
Citroen has revealed prices and specifications for the recently facelifted DS 3 and DS 3 cabrio, with six trim and seven engine options on offer.
It’s less than a fortnight since Citroen revealed their facelift for what we must now call the DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio (DS is now a ‘standalone’ brand) and, perhaps because the UK has something of a love affair with the DS 3, they’ve already come up with prices and specs.
The DS 3 Hatch starts at £13,995 and the Cabrio from £16,295 (that £2,300 difference carries on right up the range), with a range-topping Performance Black version costing £22,495 (£24,795 for the Cabrio).
The ‘Regular’ DS 3 trim options consist of Chic, Elegance and Prestige, with alloy wheels, Air Con and 7″ infotainment as standard even on the Chic, the Elegance adding 16″ Blade alloys, LED fogs, sports seats, Climate, rear parking sensors and DS Connect Box emergency and assistance system.
The DS 3 Prestige adds in stuff like eMyWay Sat Nav, front parking sensors, 17″ alloys and Alcantara upholstery.
As well as the core trims, you can now go a bit daft with the DS 3 with Ultra Prestige, Performance and Performance Black models too, endowed with extra goodies like Watch-strap leather, and designed to be part of an exclusive Collection of DS models.
Engine options across the core range include the Puretech 82 manual, 110 S&S manual, 110 SS Auto and BlueHDi 110 S&S manual on the Chic, the addition of Puretech 130 S&S manual and BlueHDi 120 S&S manual on the Elegance and Prestige (but no Puretech 82 option). The Cabrio has fewer engine options.
The top-end Ultra Prestige can only be had with the THP 165 S&S manual or BlueHDi 120 S&S, and the Performance and Performance Black only with the THP210 S&S six-speed manual with 207bhp.
The new DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio go on sale on Friday (5 February 2016) at Citroen’s UK dealers.
