New Ford Kuga ST-Line costs from £25,845 in the UK
The new Ford Kuga ST-Line – Ford’s sporty-looking take on their best-selling SUV – will cost from £25,845 in the UK, with first customer cars by the end of 2016.
Last week we revealed that Ford’s new range of ST-Line models – which already includes ST-Line versions of the Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo – was getting a new model with the arrival of the Ford Kuga ST-Line. And now we know it will cost from £25,845 in the UK.At that price, it looks like the ST-Line Kuga will slot in to Ford’s Kuga range between the Titanium Sport and Titanium X models, although it seems to have the edge on the rest of the Kuga range in the looks department.
That’s thanks to the sporty titivations Ford has made to the Kuga to endow it with the ST-Lien badge, including the black grilles at the front, the side skirts, 19″ alloys, skid plates and tinted lights, all conspiring with other tweaks to make the ST-Line look more appealing.
Ford has also lowered the suspension on the ST-Line by 10mm – and stiffened the suspension bushes – which although not much more than a tweak has conspired, together with the cosmetic changes, to make the Kuga ST-Line look far more purposeful. Let’s hope the suspension fiddles don’t upset the ride.
Available to order now, the Kuga ST-Line costs from £25,845, although with the whole of the Kuga’s range of engines available with the new ST trim, prices are going to be over £30k at the top end.
