New Kia Proceed UK Price & Spec
The new Kia Proceed – Kia’s new ‘Shooting Brake’ Estate – goes on sale in the UK on 21 January with prices starting at £23,835.
Time will tell if Kia has made the right decision in taking the Proceed in a different direction, but the new Proceed is a great looking car and, with prices from £23,835, a bit of a style bargain.
Engine choices, certainly for now, aren’t going to excite too much in the GT-Line and GT-Line S trim, but there’s a choice of the 138bhp 1.4 litre T-GDi petrol or 134bhp 1.6 litre CRDi diesel, with manual gearbox or seven speed dual clutch ‘box as an option.
The Proceed GT-Line gets part leather interior, 17″ alloys, heated steering wheel, auto lights and wipers, LED rear lights, gloss black highlights and rear spoiler.
Move up to the Proceed GT-Line Si and you get 18″ alloys, LED headlights, sunroof, leather and faux suede interior, heated outer seats, smart cruise, power tailgate and power driver’s eat.
Move on from the more GT-Line trims to the Proceed GT proper (£28,835) and you get a 1.6 litre turbo from the Ceed GT with 201bhp complete with upgraded 18″ alloys, red exterior accents, red brake calipers, beefier back bumper with diffuser and dual exhausts, LED bi-function headlights, faux suede and faux leather upholstery with red stitching and Smart Pack Assist with parking sensors.
The new Kia Proceed officially goes on sale in the UK on 21 January.
