New Lexus RX 450h Sport goes on sale in the UK
The Lexus RX 450h – an additional ‘Sporty’ take on the big Lexus SUV – goes on sale in the UK on February 1 2018, with prices starting at £51,645.
Lexus news recently has been all about the new Lexus LF-1 Limitless SUV Concept, and the expectation that Lexus will soon deliver a new compact SUV with a production version of the UX Concept at Geneva.
But even though Lexus are clearly aiming to extend and improve their SUV offerings, they’re not forgetting where it all started – the Lexus RX.
Back in November Lexus revealed the seven-seat RX at the Los Angeles Motor Show to deliver an RX which can better challenge the Volvo XC90, and they also revealed an additional trim level for the RX – the RX 450h Sport.
The bulk of the enhancements to deliver the Sport model revolve around black finishes, with black spindle grille, black surrounds for the fog lights, 20″ black alloys, door mirrors and rear diffuser, with the interior finished in smooth black leather.
Based on the RX Luxury trim – which means it sits in the middle of the RX range – the 450h Sport comes with LED headlights with auto main beam, Lexus Premium Navigation with 12.3″ touchscreen, heated and ventilated fronts seats and memory settings for the driver’s seat, steering wheel and mirrors.
On sale from today (1 February 2018) in the UK, the Lexus RX 450h costs the same as the RX Luxury trim – £51,645.
