Renault Clio Urban Nav Special Edition
The Renault Clio Urban Nav Special Edition is the latest ‘Special’ Clio aimed at getting car buyers to part with cash, offering increased spec at a ‘bargain’ price. Costs £575 more than a Dynamique Nav Clio.
January isn’t exactly the high tide for new car sales, so punters need a bit of an incentive to part with cash so soon after the expense of Christmas and New year.Renault’s New Year temptation for new car buyers is the Clio Urban Nav Special Edition, a limited-run Clio based on the Clio’s Dynamique Nav trim, but throwing in extra goodies at a ‘bargain’ price. Oh. and a ‘cool’ name.
Visually, the ‘Urban Grey’ paint job sets the Urban Nav apart from its Dynamique Nav sibling, and Renault has added rear parking sensors, 16″ alloy wheels with grey inserts and LED headlights.
That’s in addition to stuff like the 7″ touchscreen infotainment with Nav, auto lights and wipers and Air Con you already get on the Dynamique Nav trim.
Engine options are either the TCe 90 with manual gearbox or the dCi 90 with manual or six speed auto.
Price across the Urban Nav offering – which starts from £16,225 – are £575 more than the equivalent Dynamique Nav trim, but Renault say it would cost you £1,265 to spec up the Dynamique Nav to match.
And if you opt to buy with Renault’s PCP or HP then they’ll throw in a year’s free insurance.
