Skoda Kodiaq vRS LEAKS ahead of debut
The Skoda Kodiaq vRS – Skoda’a performance take on the Kodiaq SUV – leaks out online ahead of its official reveal at the Paris Motor Show.
Skoda has been on a bit of a mission to promote the new Kodiaq vRS, the performance take on their family SUV, with seemingly endless recent teasers telling us how quick and dynamic the latest vRS will be.Back in June, Skoda proudly announced the Kodiaq vRS, in the hands of Sabine Schmitz, had broken the lap record at the Nurburgring for a seven-seat SUV. Not the most competitive category, we’d guess.
That was followed by a shadowy photo of the Kodiaq vRS in August, and last month we got a tease video with lots of shadow and sharp cuts to get us excited, followed up by a design sketch of the Kodiaq vRS to show us how dynamic it is.
Now, thanks to Auto Review, we get official photos of the new Kodiaq vRS and, no great surprise, the new vRS isn’t quite as dynamic looking as the design sketch from a few weeks ago.
That’s a bit of a let down, although, if you want a ‘performance’ seven-seat family SUV, the Kodiaq vRS does look like it will offer something to play with, with its diesel engine delivering 236bhp and a decent spec too.
All is expected to be officially revealed tomorrow in Paris.
