Skoda Kodiaq vRS now on SALE – UK Price and Spec announced

The new Skoda Kodiaq vRS, Skoda’s first ‘Performance’ SUV, goes on sale in the UK today with prices starting at £42,870.

Skoda has been busy adding SUVs to its range in recent years to grab a piece of a market which shows no sign of diminishing, and the logical next step was to get a bit more niche with their SUVs. Step forward the Skoda Kodiaq vRS.

Revealed back in October at the Paris Motor Show, the new Kodiaq vRS (Kodiaq RS outside the UK) is actually the most powerful diesel Skoda has ever produced, with its twin turbo 2.0 litre diesel engine punting the lively SUV to 62mph in 7.0 seconds, and with a seven-speed DSG gearbox sending the power to all four wheels.

Just like the non-vRS versions of the Kodiaq, the vRS has seven seats so you can take your brood and their stuff – and a couple of hangers-on – wherever you want with performance to spare, and Skoda has delivered a decent spec to make the journey more comfortable and appealing too.

The design bits include 20″ alloys, gloss black for the grille and mirrors, twin exhaust pipes, vRS bumpers and red calipers, with the interior treated to Alcantara sports seats with contrast vRS logo and stitching, vRS stitching on the door panels and black headlining.

Skoda’s (well, VW’s) Virtual Cockpit also comes as standard, and the vRS also gets Dynamic Chassis Control, progressive steering, Dynamic Sound Booster and front parking sensors in the spec.

Order books for the new Skoda vRS are now open in the UK with prices from £42,807.
