Suzuki iV-4 Concept heading for Frankfurt – looks like a Nissan Juke rival

The Suzuki iV-4 Concept has been revealed as a compact SUV which is heading for a reveal at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and looks like a Nissan Juke rival.

The compact SUV is a big and growing market for car makers, so it’s no surprise to see Suzuki plotting to take a piece of the action with a new concept heading for the Frankfurt Motor Show in September – the Suzuki iV-4 Concept.

Suzuki aren’t giving much away in their tease – except for the silhouetted image above – but they do say the iV-4 is an indication of the direction Suzuki’s design is heading, but that it will retain familiar Suzuki traits like clam-shell bonnet and five-bar front grill.

What we do know is that the iV-4 isn’t a replacement for an existing model but will be added to the range, so it seems almost certain that this new iV-4 will sit below the new Suzuki S-Cross – Suzuki’s latest SUV, revealed at Geneva this year and aiming to take a piece of the Quashqai’s market – as Suzuki’s answer to the Juke.

Suzuki plan to unveil the iV-4 at Frankfurt on 10th September, but it seems likely we’ll have more detail before then.
