The SEAT 20V20 Concept has been revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, but it’s not the more compact SV we expected but a bigger model for 2020.

The SEAT 20V20 is a big SEAT SUV to come
We thought the tease SEAT has been running for an SUV concept at Geneva was going to be a first look at a Leon based SUV heading for production next year. But it’s not.
Despite that, the 20V20 Concept certainly looks like a bigger, SUV take on the Leon, with sharp lines and a look that is more dynamic than its shape and purpose might suggest.
SEAT say the 20V20 “…combines the dynamic silhouette of a four-door sports coupé with the refinement of an SUV and the versatility and utility of a mid-size estate car” – which is covering all the bases, but it’s definitely not a big cumbersome-looking lump, so they might have a point.
The interior is also sharp – although it looks a bit too high-end and techie to make production – with a big centre console, touchscreens and digital instruments and some posh-looking upholstery.
The SEAT 20V20 may not be a car SEAT could sell now (would anyone take a big-ish, upmarket SUV from SEAT seriously?), but by 2020 the perception of SEAT could have changed enough to make it an appealing and viable model.
