Volvo gave us a tease for the Concept XC Coupe last month – ahead of its debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week – but now the XC Coupe gets a proper reveal.
The Concept XC Coupé is Volvo’s second of three new concepts designed to showcase Volvo’s new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), and the XC Coupe is clearly following a theme first shown with the Volvo Concept Coupé we saw at Frankfurt last year.
Volvo say the Concept XC Coupe is inspired by modern, high-tech sports gear and the Volvo design team has given the Concept XC Coupe a modern interpretation of traditional SUV elements like side mouldings and skid plates by integrating them in to the surrounding bodywork.
The Volvo Concept XC Coupé will make its world debut on 13th January at the Detroit Auto Show .
