Ford Focus – Car of the Decade
The Ford Focus has been voted ‘Car of the Decade’ by readers voting in an Auto Trader poll.
There’s no denying that the Ford Focus is a very good car. And it would seem that readers of Auto Trader think the same. Not only that, they’ve declared it the ‘Car of the Decade’. Which, with so many cars to choose from, is quite an accolade.
If you think about how far the Focus has come – with a lineage that goes back through the Escort and back to the Anglia – it really is an astonishing progress. In its current – extremely competent – iteration you can choose from the ‘Green’ Focus ECOnetic right through to the Ford Focus RS. And all points in between.
You could argue that the same applies to the evolution of many cars, but the Focus stood out to Autotrader’s readers, and we fully understand why.
The complete list of winners is quite interesting, from the ‘Most Green Car’ going to – surprise, surprise – the Toyota Prius, and the ‘Most Overpriced Car’ being bagged by the Bugatti Veyron.
Everyone has their own point of view on these sorts of lists. What’s yours?
