The 2017 Mercedes E-Class Coupe will costs from £40,135 in the UK, with a choice, at launch, of just three engines and a single AMG Line specification.
Costing from £40,135 for the entry-level E 220d, £41,025 for the E 300 Coupe and £50,775 for the E 400 4MATIC, Mercedes aren’t pushing the boat out with the E-CLass Coupe at the moment, with just a single AMG Line trim and three engines available at launch.
The E 220d – the only diesel offering – comes with a 2.0 litre turbo with 191bhp and 295lb/ft of torque, emissions of 119g/km and can get to 62mph in 76.1 seconds. It has official economy of 61.4mpg.
Petrol offerings are the E 300 d Coupe with a 2.0 litre turbo petrol with 242bhp and 273lb/ft of torque, 160g/km, 0-62mph in 6.4 seconds and 40.4mpg, and the E 400 4MATIC with a biturbo 3.0 litre V6, 328bhp, 354lb/ft, 189g/km, 33.8mpg and 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds.
There’s no choice on tril levels, with just the AMG Line trim available which includes sports exhaust (only on the E 300), 19″ alloys, LED headlights and tail lights, Parking Pilot, Parking Sensors, Reversing Camera, Magic Vision Control, Ambient Lighting, 8.4″ Infotainment with Garmin Nav (12.3″ on E 400), Active Brake Assist, Heated Front Seats and Artico and Dinamica seats.
Mercedes are keen for you to top up the base spec with goodies, so the E Class Coupe can be optioned with ‘Premium Equipment Line’ for £2,795 which includes a memory pack, Panoramic Roof and Keyless Go, or the ‘Premium Plus’ pack for £3,895 which adds in MultiBeam LED Intelligent Lights and Burmester Sound.
Other goodies include Lane Tracking for £595, Driving Assistance PAckage for £1,695, COMAND Online for £1,495 and Air Suspension for £1,495.
The 2017 E-Class Coupe is now on sale at Mercedes’ UK dealers, with first customer cars due in April.
