2018 Hyundai i20 goes on sale in the UK
The newly facelifted Hyundai i20 five-door hatchback, revealed in April, goes on sale in the UK with prices starting from £13,995 for the i20 S 5 door 1.2 75PS manual.
Starting point for the refreshed i20 sis the i20 S with Hyundai’s 1.2 litre petrol engine with 74bhp and five-speed manual gearbox, which gets a 7″ display with DAB, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear view camera, Air Con, Bluetooth, auto lights, electric front windows and heated door mirrors.
Move up to the i20 SE, and Hyundai’s 1.2 litre petrol gets 83bhp (£15,495) and more goodies including 15″ alloys, Fogs, LED running lights, projector headlights, rear parking sensors, Cruise and electric front windows.
There’s also Emergency Autonomous Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Warning and High beam Assist, and you can also have the i20 SE with Hyunida’s 1.0 T-GDI with 99bhp and five speed manual (£16,395) or seven-speed DCT (£17,645).
The next step up the i20’s trim options is the i20 Premium Nav which starts at £16,245 for the 1.2 with 83bhp and adds 16″ alloys, dark grey front grille, LED tail lights, parking sensors front and back, Climate, Privacy Glass, folding mirrors and auto wipers. With the 2.0 T-GDI engine it costs £17,145 or £18,395 with the DCT ‘box.
The top of the i20 tree Premium Nav SE costs from £17,295 with the 83bhp 1.2 litre petrol and gets smart key, panoramic roof, heated seats and steering wheel, as well as the option of the more powerful 1.0 T-GDi with 118bhp and six-speed manual.
Colour choices for the new i20 are Tomato Red, Polar White, Clean Slate, Champion Blue, Phantom Black, Sleek Silver, Stardust Grey and Passion Red, some at extra cost.
