Mitsubishi do have a fondness for sticking a Juro badge on their cars and miraculously adorning them with big specs and low prices. Which should, by rights, have buyers beating a path to their door.
Mitsubishi has played the Juro card recently with the Lancer 2.0 DI-D Juro and the Outlander Juro, both of which we’ve reviewed and both of which we thought offered terrific value for money. And so does the Mitsubishi Colt 1.3 Juro.
The Colt is a good little supermini, offering a decent drive, good built quality and one big plus – in our eyes, at least – a lack of ubiquity.
Not quite as rare as the Smart ForFour with which it shares its underpinnings, the Juro offers decent accommodation and a recently refreshed look, with its Evo family nose. Already decent value for money, the Juro take on the 1.3 litre adds extra kit – for less than nought.
Standard kit on the Colt Juro is typically Juro-decent with leather, SatNav, 16″ alloys, AirCon and electric windows in the spec. And despite that spec the Juro comes out at less than the Colt CZ2 on which its based.
A really good city car choice.
