Audi TT Coupe & Roadster Black Edition get Amplified Black Package Option

Audi has launched an extra package for the TT Coupe and Roadster Black Edition – the Amplified Black Package – with extra spec for £700.

Car makers like a ‘Black’ edition, but what do you do when you’ve already got a ‘Black’ Edition and want to gild it a bit to get punters to spend a few bob more?

Do you call it ‘Super Black’ or ‘Black Plus’ or ‘Ultimate Black’? Not if you’re Audi you don’t, you call it the Teutonically accurate – if not exactly flowing – Amplified Black Package.

That’s what the already black Audi TT Coupe and Roadster Black Edition are getting with the launch of the £700 optional Amplified Pack.

The TT Amplified Black Package adds in black finish for the front and rear spoilers, 19″ alloys and door mirrors and even the diffuser and tailpipes move to the dark side.

The Amplified Package also comes with a choice of four striking colours – Glacier White, Misano Red, Daytona Grey or Samoa Orange – included in the price, and if you choose the’ in yer face’ Orange then the inlays in the cabin are painted to match (if not, you get brushed ali).

All the aforementioned is in addition to the regular Black Edition extras like LED running lights, BOSE, leather and Alcantara seats and parking sensors, and the Amplified Package is available with either the 2.0 litre TFSI or 2.0 litre TDI in coupe or Roadster guise.

Prices for the Audi TT Black Edition with Amplified Black Package costs from £31,365 for the 2.0 litre TFSI TT Coupe manual rising to £36,360 for the 2.0 litre TFSI TT Roadster quattro with S tronic.
