2014 Range Rover Sport UK price & specifications confirmed

Land Rover has confirmed the 2014 Range Rover Sport will start at £51,550 with a choice of four trim levels and three engines. UK public debut in May.

When Land Rover revealed the 2014 Range Rover Sport, we extensively covered exactly what was on offer, from price to engines by way of trim levels and equipment.

But as Land Rover has decided they are ready to make the specifications and prices for the new Range Rover official, it seems only fair to do a quick recap, although there’s not much we didn’t cover before.

The 2014 Range Rover Sport comes in four trim levels – SE, HSE, HSE Dynamic and Autobiography Dynamic – and a choice of three engines – TDV6 and SDV6 3.0-litre diesel units and supercharged 5.0-litre V8 petrol – although not all engines are available on all trim levels.

Equipment levels are decent with even the Range Rover Sport SE getting leather trim, auto lights and wipers, DAB, power tailgate, Stop-Start, Climate, heated front seats, SatNav, air suspension and Terrain Response.

Move up from the entry-level Sport to the HSE and you can add in stuff like 20″ alloys, Oxford leather seats, heated rear seats, front fogs, flappy paddles, heated windscreen, rear view camera and aluminium treadplates, with the HSE Dynamic throwing in stainless steel pedals, bright finish tailpipes, gloss black grill and vents, 21″ alloys, twin-speed transfer box, Torque Vectoring and an auto setting for the Terrari REsponse.

Go daft and shell out for the Autobiography Dynamic and you get High Beam Assist, interior mood lighting, Meridian Sound, illuminated treadplates, adaptive Cruise, emergency braking and active front seat belts.

Prices for the 2014 Range Rover Sport start at £51,550 for the SE, £59,995 for the HSE, £64,995 for the HSE Dynamic and £74,995 for the Autobiography Dynamic, but you can push those prices a chunk higher depending on engine and option choices.

The new Range Rover Sport is getting its UK public debut in May at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. the order book is open and first customer RRS should arrive from late summer.
