It’s always nice to have a hook to a limited edition car, and Skoda are hanging their latest limited editions of the Yeti, Octavia and Superb on the Tour de France.
Just 198 examples of each car will be built – that’s the number of entries for this year’s Tour de France – and you can only have one in Red, White or Blue.
The Skoda Yeti Tour de France is based on the Outdoor SE with the 2.0 litre diesel and four wheel drive and comes with all the above TdF extras plus SatNav with DAB, Keyless, Stop-Start, mats and an internal bike rack. It costs £23,490.
The Superb Tour de France is based on the Estate Outdoor – also with the 2.,0 litre diesel and 4WD – and gets the same equipment as the Yeti TdF plus a space saver wheel and boot net. It costs £28,490.
Finally, the Octavia Tour de France – which gets the 150PS version of the 2.0 litre TDI – is based on the Estate SE and gets the same treatment as the Yeti TdF and Superb TdF plus roof bars and a roof-mounted bike carrier (instead of the internal one). It costs £24,290.
The Skoda Tour de France limited editions are now up for grabs at Skoda’s UK dealers.
