The new Audi TT is now on sale in the UK
The third generation Audi TT arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in March as an evolution of Audi’s TT, and now it’s on sale in the UK from £29,770 with the first UK deliveries due in December.
At launch there will be a choice of two trim levels – Sport and S Line – and a choice of two engines – the 2.0 litre TFSI with 227bhp and 2.0 litre TDI Ultra with 181bhp, with the 2.0 litre TFSI available with either front wheel drive or quattro four-wheel-drive with either a six-speed manual or six-speed S Tronic gearbox available.
The 2.0 litre TDI is only available with FWD, but it will deliver official economy of 67.3mpg yet still manages to get to 62mph in 7.1 seconds.
The Audi TT Sport gets Audi’s MMI, SatNav, Bluetooth, Adaptive Dampers, Keyless, Alcantara trim, sports seats, 18″ alloys, sports suspension and LED running lights, with the S Line trim adding stuff like 19″ alloys, full LED lights and stiffer, lowered suspension.
Options include Audi connected services – which gives internet with Google maps and social media – and upgraded B&O sound.
Starting point is n£29,770 for the 2.0 litre TDI Ultra Sport rising to £35,335 for the 2.0 litre TFSI quattro S Line model. A more powerful Audi TT S version will follow in October with 306bhp.
The new Audi TT is now on sale in the UK, with first deliveries expected in December 2014 (TT S in March 2015).
