The limited edition McLaren 650S Le Mans is being built by McLaren Special Operations to mark the 20th anniversary of the F1 Le Mans win.

The key to McLaren’s road cars is its racing heritage, so what better reason for a new limited edition 650S than to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the McLaren F1 GTR victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans?
Styling tweaks for the 650S Le Mans include a functioning ‘snorkel’ on the roof which channels air in to the engine (and makes nice noises in the cabin), louvres on the front wings to reduce pressure on the front wheels, 19″ (20″ at the back) Le Mans Edition alloys, ceramic brakes with orange callipers, MSO extended side blades and rear diffuser, and a Sarthe Grey paint job inspired by the Le Mans-winning F1 GTR.
Other individual elements include orange ‘Le Mans’ logos, carbon fibre for the front splitter and back bumper, black leather and Alcantar interior, sports seats with McLaren Orange centres and ;Le Mans’ logos on the headrests and mats.
Power doesn’t change in the 650S Le Mans, but with 642bhp and 500lb/ft of torque – and a 0-62mph of 3.0 seconds – that’s hardly a problem.
The McLaren 650S Le Mans is now on sale from £244,500 (before you start on options) with just 500 (all coupes) available worldwide.
