The Range Rover Evoque is getting something of a facelift for the 2016 model year with new headlights, interior tweaks and new Ingenium engines.

Range Rover Evoque facelift at Geneva 2015 – including new LED active headlights
Land Rover once said they wouldn’t give the Evoque traditional facelifts every few years, but have a continuous programme of improvements that would enhance the Evoque year by year. And we’re about to get another Evoque non-facelift at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The only photo we have so far of the 2016 Evoque (above) shows a new headlight signature on the Evoque’s new full LED active headlights, but the big news will be new engines.
Surprisingly, Land Rover are fitting the Evoque with the new Ingenium engines you’ll find in the new Jaguar XE, despite the new Land Rover Discovery Sport having to make do with the old engines for the time being, which should make the Evoque more powerful and more economical.
There will also be some new safety and convenience features on the new Evoque, as well as titivations to the interior.
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover’s Design Director, said:
Our challenge has been to enhance Evoque without diluting its iconic design. The design refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400,000 consumers around the world.
The 2016 Range Rover Evoque will get its public debut next month at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, but Land Rover are releasing details next week (23 February).
More then.
