Peugeot 208 Allure Special Edition returns
The Peugeot 208 Allure Premium Special Edition returns to Peugeot’s 208 range as they launch their ‘Summer Escape’ deals to get buyers in to showrooms.
August is not the best selling month of the year for cars, so car makers tend to make a bit of an extra effort to offer value to keep buyers spending.Last year, Peugeot delivered the 208 Allure Special Edition to get buyers to part with their cash, and we must assume it was a successful promotion as it’s back again for 2017’s Peugeot ‘Summer Escape’ promotion.
It’s been tweaked a bit from last year with a bit more colour choice – you now have a choice of 10 colour options including the bright orange (above) – but it’s very similar.
That means a 208 Allure 1.2L PureTech 82 under the skin, but titivated with 16″ Titane black alloys, electric, heated and folding mirrors, privacy glass and a Cielo panoramic glass roof.
Other extra goodies include ambient lighting, electric windows all round, colour reversing camera and rear parking aid, good Smartphone connectivity and optional 3D connected Sat Nav.
The return of the Allure Special Edition offers a saving for buyers of £1,600 compared to individually speccing a regular Allure to the same level, and along with the recent 208 Black edition (which offers a £600 saving) it offers a good option if you want to get in to a 208 right now.
