Test Drive a new Hyundai and Hyundai will give £50 to Stand Up To Cancer

Hyundai is continuing its support for Stand Up To Cancer and will donate £50 for every test drive in February, expecting to raise at least £60,000.

Hyundai has been on a bit of a mission of late to support Stand Up To Cancer, and it’s got a plan to raise and additional £60,000 this February.

Hyundai managed to raise £150k in 2017 for the charity with initiatives like the world’s first contactless car taking donations as it toured round the UK, as well as challenges like the Kona 10 round the UK’s Volcanic landscape, and Hyundai are now digging in to their own coffers to up their funding commitment.

From 1st to 28th February 2018, Hyundai will donate £50 for every single test drive taken, and based on 2017’s number that will raise an additional £60,000 for the charity.

Tony Whitehorn, Hyundai’s UK boss, said:

We’re incredibly proud of the amount raised with Stand Up To Cancer this year thanks to our #DriveTheRebellion campaign.

From the Contactless Car, through our employees and through generous donations from the public we’ve contributed over £150,000 towards Stand Up To Cancer’s vital research to find new and better treatments for patients. But we realise there’s a long way to go, and that’s why we’re continuing our Stand Up To Cancer partnership with the help of our retail partners in 2018.
