Get behind the wheel of the Hyundai i30N at Millbrook

Hyundai launches an i30N Driving Experience at Millbrook Proving Ground in August to let prospective customers loose behind the wheel. And it’s free.

It’s a year since the Hyundai i30N arrived as the first performance model from Hyundai’s N Performance brand, and it’s proving to be a big success.

Arriving fully formed and very able, the i30N surprised with its abilities, performance and dynamics and demonstrated it was as capable as hot hatches from any of the more established brands. And it’s just the start of Hyundai’s N Performance models.

Having sold far better than Hyundai expected, it’s now time to push the i30N – and the whole Hyundai ‘N’ experience – a bit more, and Hyundai has lined up a driving experience at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, and it’s open to one and all (although spaces are limited).

Running on the weekends of the 11th and 12th and 18th and 19th of August, each experience will consist of four individual drives which will showcase the i30N’s abilities around Millbrook, including the Mile Straight and High-Speed Bowl.

You’ll get to play with launch control starts and blat round like a rally driver, get tips from professional drivers and be assessed on your skill levels too, with those topping the board winning a Hyundai Motorsport WRC Co-Drive Experience through a Wales Rally stage. The overall winner will get a weekend at the Wales Rally in October.

Hyundai has also lined up an ‘Nth Degree Hub’ at Millbrook where participants can enjoy a hands-on experience of the i30N with interactive challenges.

Each exclusive session promises to be fun and competitive, with guests getting the chance to perfect their driving skills on some of Millbrook’s most challenging routes that aren’t normally open to members of the public.
