New Honda CR-V UK Prices and Specs announced

Honda UK has announced prices and specifications for the 2018 CR-V, with prices starting at £25,995 and rising to £35,445.

Honda finally got round to delivering the new CR-V in UK spec at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, almost a year after it went on sale in the US.

The changes to the new CR-V deliver a bigger car with crisper lines, a new family face, seven-seat option and bigger wheels and tyres, with a choice of a 1.5 litre petrol engine or a 2.0 litre i-VTEC mild hybrid system. But you can’t buy a hybrid in the UK and Europe – at least not yet.

For now it’s Hobson’s choice of a 1.5 litre i-VTEC with 171bhp and 162lb/ft of torque when mated to the six-speed manual, and 188bhp and 179lb/ft of torque if you opt for the CVT ‘box. Trim options are S, SE, SR and EX with manual or CVT ‘box and with five or seven seats.

Even the entry-level CR-V S gets parking sensors and rear view camera, with Honda Sensing adding stuff like Collision Mitigation Braking, Forward Collision warning, Adaptive Cruise, Road Departure Mitigation and Traffic Sign Recognition.

The CR-V SR throws in Smart Entry and Start, Leather, Active Cornering lights and Heated Windscreen, and the CR-V EX gets HUD, Heated Steering Wheel, Hands-Free Tailgate, Panoramic Glass Roof and Heated Rear Seats.

The new Honda CR-V will arrive in Honda’s UK showroom in September.
