Aston Martin Heritage Showroom opens in Mayfair
Aston Martin has opened a new Heritage Showroom in the heart of London’s Mayfair, hoping to grab the attention of wealthy passing traffic.
Aston Martin already has a very nice Heritage Showroom in Newport Pagnell, opened in 2013 after a two year development and full of beautiful heritage and classic Aston Martins, many fully restored by the company which made them in the first place. But delightful though the Newport Pagnell Heritage Showroom is, it’s a bit off the beaten track, and you won’t find any passing wealthy classic car lovers wandering by on their way to a restaurant or hotel.
So Aston Martin has done the sensible thing and opened a new satellite Heritage Showroom at the Aston Martin Brand Experience Centre in Dover Street in the heart of Mayfair. Which has more than a smattering of wealthy on the doorstep all year round.
Paul Spires, Aston Martin Works boss, said:
The expansion of our Heritage showroom activity into Central London enables us to engage with our customers in the location where they work and live their lifestyle. It also supports the international appeal and invigorated interest in Aston Martin Heritage cars, allowing us to deliver a personal service to customers visiting the UK.
It’s also a timely move as Aston Martin goes big on ‘Continuation’ models, with not just 25 James Bond Aston Martin models to flog, but probably a DB4 GT Continuation or two still up for grabs.
And more to come, it seems almost certain.
