
New Toyota Camry UK Price and Spec
The new 2019 Toyota Camry, revealed last year, is going on sale in the UK as a hybrid, with prices starting at £29,995 for the Camry Design.
Last year we revealed the Toyota Camry is heading for the UK as a replacement for the Avensis after a 14 year hiatus, complete with new TNGA Platform and a 2.5 litre hybrid electric powertrain.The Camry for the UK is the eighth generation of the world’s best-selling saloon, and goes on sale in the UK alongside another Toyota nameplate revival – the new Toyota Corolla.
The Camry’s new powertrain is a 2.5 litre ‘self-charging’ hybrid, delivering 215bhp and with official economy of 50.5-53.3mpg and emissions of 98-101g/km, and will be the only powertrain Toyota offers in the Camry.
Two trim levels are available on the new Camry – Design and Excel – with Design versions getting 17″ alloys, leather, LED headlights, Climate, reversing camera, heated electric front seats, 7″ multi-function display and Toyota Touch 2 multimedia with 7″ screen, DAB and Bluetooth.
Toyota safety Sense nannies are also included, with Pre-Collision with Pedestrian Detection, Adaptive Cruise, Lane Departure, Road Sign Assist, Sway Warning and auto main beam.
The Camry excel adds to the spec with 18″ alloys, LED fogs, LED dual beam projector headlights, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic, Wireless phone charging and Lane Change Assist.
The new Toyota Camry officially goes on sale on 1 April, with the Camry Design from £29,995 and the Camry Excel from £31,295.
