Aston Martin DB5, V8 Vantage and DBS Superleggera star in new James Bond trailer
A new trailer for the next James Bond outing – No Time To Die- features a trio of Aston Martins- the Aston Martin DB5, V8 Vantage and DBS Superleggera.
It was originally a very poor second choice to put Sean Connery’s James Bond in to an Aston Martin, but 55 years later James Bond wouldn’t be James Bond without an Aston Martin. Or two. Or three…
With the next instalment of the Bond Franchise due to hit screens next spring – No Time To Die – the promo is starting to ramp up, and we have the latest proper trailer to raise anticipation for Daniel Craig’s last outing as Bond.
What we get, apart from lots of action, is a look at almost all the Aston Martins featuring, and this time round Bond has Aston Martins in spades.
The ‘real’ Bond Aston – the Aston Martin DB5 – is back for another star appearance, but this time it appears to have had a bit of a makeover, and its headlights now rotate away to present a pair of Gatling guns to terrorise his foes.
But the DB5 is also joined by a V8 Vantage – seen previously in 1987’s The Living Daylights – to deliver two doses of Aston Martin Bond nostalgia. And it looks like Bond may not be the only star of the film with an Aston Martin to play with, as what looks like a DBS Superleggera features in the trailer driven by someone other than Bond.
And as if three Aston Martins in a Bond film isn’t enough, there’s going to be a fourth – although it doesn’t feature in this trailer – with the Valhalla Supercar also getting the James Bond seal.
