The Audi A6 allroad Quattro Sport has been revealed for the UK as an A6 allroad with additional equipment and a bigger price tag. Costs from £49,445.
Audi has chosen now to launch the new Sport take on the allroad to tempt buyers to splash some cash to feel safer during the coming winter months, and if you don’t mind forking out an extra £3,700 over a regular A6 allroad then you do get a chunk more for your money.
The standard spec on the Sport includes 19″ alloy wheels, electric sports seats (in the front), Alcantara door inserts, LED headlights and rear turn signals, high beam assist and privacy glass. Options include matrix LED headlights, heads-up display, night vision assist and a tow bar.
Engine options for the SPort are the same as the regular A6 allroad, so you can choose between three six-cylinder TDI diesel engines, with the 215bhp and 268bhp versions mated to a seven-speed S tronic box and quattro four-wheel drive, and the most powerful 316bhp version getting and eight-speed tiptronic gearbox.
The new Audi A6 allroad Sport is now on sale in Audi’s UK dealers, with the promise of delivery before the winter is done.

Why does Audi keep thinking that everyone is interested in their diesel engines? See what Volvo is doing with their petrol engines and the amount of torque it has been able to draw out of the engine. Come on Audi, I love my petrol engine, which is less pollutant than a diesel engine.

They do it because the UK’s car tax structure pushes everyone in to diesels. But let’s hope the dieselgate backlash starts to persuade buyers to look more favourably on petrol-engined cars again, and that the government looks to make NOx and particulates part of the emissions calculation for BIK. Then we might start to see properly appealing petrol options on offer.
