Audi are due to announce a price rise across their range from £175 on the A3 to £1,525 on the R8 V10 from 1st December. The VAT change will add an additional 2.5% in January.
It was back in January when Audi last announced a price rise for their cars. That saw Audis increase across most of the range by 2-3% from 23rd February 2009. And now we’re due another rise.
Audi are due to nudge their prices up a smidge from 1st December 2009, so if you’re looking to get an Audi on order this year you may as well do it by the end of this month and save a few quid.
At the bottom of the Audi range expect to see prices rise on the A3 by an average of £175. on the A5 Coupe by £290 and on the Audi R8 V10 by £1,525. Virtually every Audi is rising in price, but there seems to be no price increase for the Audi TT 1.8 TFSI Roadster or Audi A6 with the 6-pot engine.
Also to be taken in to consideration – in addition to these price rises, is that VAT will rise by 2.5% on January 1st 2010. So you could see your new Audi R8 V10 costing an extra £4,000+ if you don’t get a shake on.
