Audi UK looks to have accidentally revealed a ‘Plus’ version of the RS6 – the Audi RS6 Avant Plus – as imminent after a slip-up on a website posting.

Audi RS6 Avant Plus outed by Audi UK

The Audi RS6 Avant is, in many way, the pick of the ‘Uber’ estate cars from Germany.
But as Stephan Reil, Audi Quattro Division boss, said back in January, Audi are planning an even more powerful ‘Plus’ version of the RS6 Avant with around 600bhp to take on cars like the Mercedes E63 AMG S which also offers 4WD (at least in LHD markets) and 577bhp.
We’re expecting the RS6 Avant Plus at some point in 2014, but it looks like a reval may be imminent after Audi UK accidentally posted new of the new, more powerful RS6 Avant Plus on their website.
It was soon taken down, but GT Spirit managed a screen grab (above) before that happened, which confirms the 600bhp of the ‘Plus’ and that it will be more agile thanks to weight saving as well as more power.
It looks like Audi UK managed to use a photo of the regular RS6 Avant rather than the new ‘Plus’ in its website post, but if Audi UK have details of the Avant Plus sat with their web team it seems likely the official reveal will be any day soon.
And when it does arrive, we’d expect the new Audi RS6 Avant Plus to cost even more than the £85,530 Mercedes E63 AMG S Estate.
