BMW has decided to give their 6 Series – including the Coupe, Convertible, Gran Coupe and M6 versions – a titivate for 2015, but unless you’re intimately acquainted with every nuance of the 6 Series you’re going to be hard pushed to spot what’s been done.
There are more, similarly modest, changes to the interior, with higher quality materials, some new two-tone leathers and BMW’s latest heads-up display.
BMW has left the engine range unchanged for 2015 – which means the 3.0 litre diesel, 3.0 litre in-line-six petrol and 4.4 litre V8 petrol in the 650i and M6 versions. But economy has been improved, with the 640d getting 2mpg more.
BMW are promising enhanced specifications for the new 6 Series range, which will be revealed after it debuts at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
The new BMW 6 Series Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe go on sale in the UK on 1 March 2015.
