The Hyundai i30N Fastback (pictured) will debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show
The Hyundai i30N Fastback will arrive as Hyundai’s third ‘N’ car – and the second for the UK – at the Paris Motor Show in the Autumn.
Hyundai has hit the spot perfectly with the i30N, their first performance hatchback, with European sales 150 per cent above expectations and the UK as the second biggest market for the Hyundai hot hatch.Having shown it can deliver a truly credible hot hatch, Hyundai is already starting to cash-in on that success with new Hyundai N Line models with a chunk of the looks, but none of the get up and go, and now it’s almost time for the next installment of the N range – the new Hyundai i30 Fastback N.
The second N model (the third if you count the Velster N, but we don’t get that in the UK), the Fastback N comes with the same power options – 247bp or 271bhp – but all wrapped up in a sexier i30 Fastback shape, and with a bit of the ‘Hooligan’ dialed out.
We’ll have to wait until the Fastback i30 N arrives to judge if it’s the choice for most in the UK, but even though it’s likely to be a bit more expensive than the i30N Hatch, the expectation of a slightly more compliant car, but still with Hot Hatch performance, which looks more stylish and rides a bit more compliantly could mean Hyundai has hit the target perfectly for the UK.
