Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk for the UK
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk – Jeeps Performance Grand Cherokee – is coming to the UK, complete with 700bhp and £90k price tag.
If you want the ultimate performance SUV you opt for a Porsche Cayenne, Lamborghini Urus, Range Rover SVR or even a Bentley Bentayga. Or do you?According to Jeep you’d be barking mad to opt for any of the former now the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is heading for the UK, complete with an impressive 700bhp from its 6.2 litre V8, delivering a properly ‘budget’ performance SUV.
Jeep want you to know that every bhp in the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk costs just £127, whereas the Urus will cost you £257 per bhp and the Bentayga £296. Measured thus we can’t argue it’s not a proper performance bargain.
The spec for the Trackhawk is decent too including lashings of leather, Brembo brakes, an ear bleeding 825w Harmon Kardon sound system, surround cameras, 20″ alloys, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and adaptive Bilsteins.
The looks are titivated too with flared wheel arches, a sculpted bonnet with vents and quad exhaust tail pipes, whilst the interior gets Laguna leather seats with Trackhawk logos, 8.4″ Uconnect display, Berber floor mats, metal accents and, say Jeep, a total of 65 safety and security features.
Jeep say there are only going to be 20 Grand Cherokee Trackhawks for the UK this year, so if you feel the need to grab one you’d probably better get on with it.
