Jenson Button’s UNIQUE McLaren P1 up for grabs – for £1.6 million

Jenson Button has decided to part ways with his unique McLaren P1 after decamping to the USA, and it can be yours for £1.6 million.

As you might expect, former F1 world champion Jenson Button is a bit of a petrolhead, and he’s had an interesting range of cars in his garage including a Bugatti, an NSX and a McLaren or three.

One of the Jenson Button McLarens is a P1, with some unique upgrades by MSO, and now, assuming you have £1.6 million down the back of the sofa doing nothing, it can be yours.

Having decamped to the States after he retired from F1, Button says he no longer gets to drive it much (it’s only done 551 miles so he obviously didn’t use it much even when he was in the UK), so the time has come to flog it.

Posting on Instagram, Button said:

So I’ve decided to put my Mclaren P1 up for sale so that someone else can enjoy her. It’s a tough decision but living in America I don’t really get the chance to drive this beauty, I did give her a final blast up to Silverstone for WEC last month though!

Jenson’s P1 is a 2015 car and finished in Grauschwartz Grey with Stealth Pack and an MSO interior, complete with lots of carbon fibre, ceramic brakes with yellow calipers and MSO ‘Track Mode 2’ which delivers a road-legal Race Mode.
