The new Kia GT Line has been revealed as a sporty take on the cee’d, pro_ee’d and cee’d SW with 3-cylinder 1.0 litre engine and DSG gearbox options.

Kia cee’d GT Line arrives
The Kia c’ed GT Line is being launched by Kia at the Geneva Motor Show next month as a sporty take on all the cee’d models – cee’d pro_cee’d and cee’d Sportswagon – to sit below the cee’d GT in Kia’s lineup.
The interior is also a take on the full GT with grey, white and black upholstery with grey stitching, GT Line logos dotted around, piano black and leather steering wheel and aluminium pedals. There’s also some new chrome, a new stop-start button and illumination for the connectivity ports.
Under the skin, the cee’d GT Line sees the arrival of Kia’s new 3-cylinder 1.0 litre T-GDi engine which produces 118bhp and 112lb/ft of torque. Kia say it offers strong performance, better economy and lower emissions – but they haven’t revealed any figures.
The diesel option for the GT Line – the 1.6 litre CRDi – has also been given a makeover and now offers 131bhp and 210lb/ft of torque. Again, Kia say emissions will be lower and economy improved but give us no figures.
The new GT Line is also the first Kia to get the option of the new 7-speed DCT auto gearbox (but only on the diesel) which will make gear changes quicker, performance better and improve economy and emissions. But by how much, Kia aren’t saying. But the new DCT will roll out to other models in Kia’s range too.
The Kia cee’d GT Line will debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show but won’t arrive in Kia’s UK dealers until the end of 2015.
