Kia has revealed the Kia pro_cee’d 4, a top of the range pro_cee’d with toys like Cruise and SatNav, plus alloys and leather. Costs £18,495.
We did think that Kia had forgotten all about the pro_cee’d, another appallingly-named offering from Hyundai’s sibling.
But no, they finally got round to offering a similar makeover on the three-door pro_cee’d to the one they gave the five-door cee’d eighteen months earlier, and revealed the 2011 Kia pro_ceed at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
And now, just like a bus, having waited forever for any news on the pro_cee’d, Kia stun us with even more news; there’s to be a new top of the range pro_cee’d – the Kia pro_cee’d ‘4’.
Despite the clue in the name, you’d be wrong to assume the pro_cee’d 4 has 4WD – it doesn’t. What it has is a new, fourth level of trim, one up from the pro_cee’d 3. See, simple when you know.
That means you get luxury goodies like 17″ alloys and privacy glass, leather trim and heated seats. Standard kit also includes Cruise and SatNav and a reversing camera with a 7″ colour screen. A far from shoddy spec.
So, if you’ve always wanted a 3-door cee’d with lots of toys, now you can. For £18,495.
