The Lexus LC 500 V8 isn’t just one of the most beautiful cars on sale, it also happens to have a stunning soundtrack, as Lexus prove in this LC video.
It’s not very long ago that Lexus was known not only for the beautiful way its cars are built, but for rather bland design which seemed designed to not offends rather than to titilate the senses.
|But things have changed and Lexus has got bold, and they seem happy top deliver almost divisive designs in an effort to stand out in a crowded market place. And that’s a good thing.
But one Lexus which isn’t divisive (although you can’t please all the people) is the stunning LC Coupe, perhaps one of the most visually appealing cars money can buy.
But Lexus don’t want to appeal just with looks, but want to tickle the ears of petrolheads too with a glorious V8 soundtrack in the LC V8. And to prove that’s what the LC V8 has, they’ve enlisted the help of three-time British Rally Champion Mark Higgins to demonstrate the LC’s aural joys around Bristol’s Cabot Circus multi-storey car park.
Higgins drives the LC between pillars in the car park, delivering power slides, hitting the 7300rpm red line at times and using the ten-speed gearbox to good effect.
Higgins said:
The LC is a lovely car and it looks gorgeous. It gives you everything you want in terms of luxury but it’s fun to drive as well. And the sound it made through that car park at two in the morning was amazing – it echoed out all over Bristol. It’s a car that I would be very, very happy to drive every day.
Yet another reason to buy the LC.
