Lexus has released a second tease for a new ‘F’ model to be revealed at the Detroit Auto Show. Lexus don’t say as much, but it’s the RC-F.

Lexus RC-F Coupe teased again
We had a tease from Lexus for a new F performance model to debut at the Detroit auto show next month, but Lexus declined to say what exactly it will be.
The expectation if for a more aggressive looking Lexus RC with enough power and performance to offer some sort of competition to the new BMW M4, a car that will also debut at Detroit next month.
The power will almost certainly come from a 5.0 litre V8 with around 450bhp, although a more complicated powerplant can’t be ruled out completely.
What we can see in this teaser is a bold power vent on the bonnet, the latest Lexus spindle grill and the same headlights as the normal RC Coupe.
But what we can also expect is a deeper front bumper, side sills, rear diffuser and a subtle spoiler on back to make the RC-F Coupe look the part, as well as an interior with a more sporty bent.
Expect more teases, and a full reveal, of the Lexus RC-F Coupe before we get to Detroit in January.
