With the official reveal of the 2014 Mercedes S Class still tow weeks away, Mercedes has accidentally posted a photo of the new S Class on its Austrian website.

The image has since been removed, but not before it escaped in to the wild to give us our first official view of the new S Class, a car which has always set new standards in equipment and safety with each new launch, and the 2014 S Class will be no different.
What will be different is the range of models we expect to arrive in the next few years, from standard and long wheelbase S Class through an S Class Coupe, S Class Convertible and a super-luxury S Class Pullman, which will effectively replace Mercedes’ failed Maybach adventure.
The new S Class looks less bulbous than its current incarnation, with the bulging rear wheel arches gone and a slimmer look all round. This particular S Class looks like it has a few AMG styling options and the design is clearly new, although there’s no denying this is very much a new S Class.
We already knew that Mercedes had made a great job of the interior on the new S Class – because they showed us – and they do look to have done an equally good job of bringing the now seven year old S Class up to date.
We’ll have full details of the new S Class on 15th May – unless someone in Mercedes’ web team has a slip of the mouse before.

Have Mercedes only got one filter for Photoshop? This photo of the new S Class looks exactly the same as the leaked photos you had of the new CLA in December.https://www.carsuk.net/new-mercedes-cla-first-photos/
