First 'Official' photos of the MINI Countryman

The first official photos we have seen of the new MINI Countryman AWD have leaked out on the web.

Yesterday we brought you a report on the latest tease from MINI, this time a video of the new MINI Countryman all camouflaged up in yellow and black driving through a black and yellow camouflaged countryscape. Which told us precisely nothing.

But now we get the first official photos of the MINI Countryman – but unofficially. The pictures you see here are undoubtedly the real deal, they’ve just found their way out of BMW/MINI a bit too soon for their liking.

So what do the pictures tell us? Well, the Countryman does seem to ride a bit lower than we’d have expected from the Concept or from the Beachcomber. The Countryman is bigger than other MINIs and sport some ‘All4’ badges to denote its 4WD (although that’s going to be optional).

The headlights are also different as is the grill, and it may just be me but it looks from the front a bit like a Mini Cayenne.

Now the Countryman bucket has started to leak I’m sure we’ll see more from MINI officially very soon.
