The new Citroen C3 – complete with looks influenced by the C4 Cactus – officially goes on sale in the UK on 3 January priced from £10,995 for the C4 Touch.
Citroen’s USP was always the quirky – the left-field take on what a car should be – which did get lost in recent years, but is now alive and kicking both in the C4 Cactus and the new Fiesta-rivalling Citroen C3.Revealed in the summer, the new C3 takes a lot of the influences which have worked so well on the C4 Cactus and riven them in to the C3’s previous blandness to deliver a car that looks funky, and will divide opinion. Which in our book is always good.
Officially on sale in the UK from 3 January (although order books are already open) the new C3 will be available in Touch, Feel and Flair trims, with the Touch costing from £10,995, the Feel from £13,045 and the Flair from £14,795.
You’ll get colour choices for the roof and body creating 36 individual combinations, and you can even choose a white or red motif for the airbumps to make the C3 your own.
Engine options vary depend to a degree on trim choice but include PureTech petrols in 68PS, 82PS and 110PS guises and BlueHDI diesels in 75PS or 100PS. All come with a manual gearbox, but Citroen’s EAT6 auto ‘box will be available on the C3 PureTech 110 S&S Flair from February.
